01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Suko Labs (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Huntrail mobile application for iOS and watchOS, its companion services, and this website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing or using Huntrail you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these Terms conflict with mandatory provisions of that agreement, the mandatory provisions control.

02The service

Huntrail is a personal hunting companion: it maps publicly accessible hunting land, records your hunts, logs shots and harvests, identifies species and gear with the help of AI, generates hunt briefs, and keeps a collection of species stamps. Some features require a paid subscription (“Huntrail Pro”). Some features require network connectivity, location access or camera access to function.

03Hunting safety & legal compliance

• You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations wherever you hunt, including licensing, permits, tags, season dates, bag limits, legal shooting hours, weapon restrictions, hunter-orange requirements and land-access rules.
• Always verify with official sources (your state wildlife agency, e.g. Texas Parks & Wildlife, or the relevant land manager) before hunting. Regulations change; the App's information may be incomplete, outdated or wrong.
• Season and regulation data in the App is indicative only and is provided without any guarantee of accuracy or currency.
• Firearm safety is your responsibility. Nothing in the App constitutes firearms training or safety instruction.
• The Service does not grant you any right of access to any land. Public accessibility, permit requirements and special rules for any mapped area must be confirmed with the managing agency.

04Data accuracy, maps & GPS

• Mapped area boundaries are derived from public government datasets (including USGS PAD-US, TPWD and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service data) and are approximate. They must not be used to determine legal property boundaries, and they are not a survey.
• The App is not a navigation or emergency device. GPS positioning can be inaccurate or unavailable. Do not rely on the App for wayfinding, rescue or safety-critical decisions; carry appropriate navigation and communication equipment.
• Weather data is provided by third parties (Open-Meteo) and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions.
• Map content is provided by Apple Maps and subject to Apple's terms.

05AI-generated content

• Never use the App to decide whether an animal is legal to shoot. Positive, personal identification of species, sex and legality before taking a shot is a fundamental rule of hunting and remains entirely your responsibility. Harvest scan is a logging convenience applied after the fact. It is not a legal or biological determination.
• Hunt briefs are automatically generated tactical suggestions, not professional advice. They may contain errors and must not be treated as authoritative guidance on regulations, safety or land access.
• Firearm scan results (make, model, gauge/caliber) may be incorrect; verify your firearm's markings and ammunition compatibility yourself. Using incorrect ammunition is dangerous.

06Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service, and you must be legally permitted to engage in the activities you record. Minors may use the Service only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf. Hunting and firearm possession by minors is governed by local law, which you must follow.

07Subscriptions & billing

• Huntrail Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID through the App Store. Pricing, billing period and any free trial are shown in the App before purchase.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• Free trials: if a trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
• Use Restore Purchases in the App to re-activate a subscription on a new device.
• We may change subscription pricing or what is included in Pro; changes apply prospectively and Apple will notify you of price changes as required.

08Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App: photos, notes, logs and profile details (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you, for example by syncing your hunt log to your own account and sending a scan photo to our AI provider to produce an identification. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and must have the right to capture and store it.

09Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in connection with any unlawful activity, including poaching, hunting out of season, trespassing, or taking protected species;
• reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or copy the Service or its bundled datasets except as permitted by law;
• probe, overload, disrupt or circumvent the security of the Service or its backend, or use our AI endpoints outside the App;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent;
• use the Service where doing so would distract you from safe firearm handling or situational awareness.

10Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, stamp artwork, brand and content (except Your Content and third-party data), is owned by Suko Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Government datasets incorporated in the App remain subject to their own public licenses; weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under CC BY 4.0.

11Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DATA (INCLUDING MAPS, BOUNDARIES, SEASONS, WEATHER OR AI OUTPUT) IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT.

12Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUKO LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DAMAGES, FINES, PENALTIES, INJURY OR DEATH ARISING FROM HUNTING ACTIVITY, FIREARM USE, RELIANCE ON MAP, BOUNDARY, SEASON, WEATHER OR AI-GENERATED INFORMATION, OR VIOLATIONS OF HUNTING LAWS OR LAND-ACCESS RULES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR USD 50 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suko Labs from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or regulation (including hunting and firearms laws), or your infringement of any third-party right in connection with your use of the Service.

14Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App; see the Privacy Policy for data deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 03 to 05 and 10 to 16 survive termination. Paid subscription periods already billed are governed by Apple's refund policies.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and where appropriate flagged in the App. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections and venue rights granted by the laws of your country or state of residence, and nothing in this section deprives you of them.
